Monkey-B Virus:-
This virus initially isolated in late 1932 is an alphaherpesvirus zoonotically in macaques of Macaca . B Virus is the only identified in old monkey herpesvirus that display pathogenicity in Humans which is similar to cold sores in humans.
While doing researching a 53 yr old male veterinarian who work for an institution he was doing research on human primates by the month of April there were quite symptoms has been started like nausea and vomiting
he died in the month of
May due rising cases of 3rd wave of Corona Virus ,But this was not so normal case like others it has something hidden to it
So,
China has reported that first human death due to infection caused by Monkey B Virus quoted as “ (BV)” after a Beijing based veterinarian was confirmed with the same month after he started dissected dead monkeys in March as and it is said that there were no fatal or clinically proven evident BV infections in China
The infection can be transmitted via direct contact and exchange of bodily secretions of monkeys and has a fatality rate of 70% to 80%
Humans get infected by this virus if they are bitten or scratched by infected monkey
