Computer is an Electronic Device which is made to ease the work in smart and more efficient
manner. Computer were invented mainly for doing numerical calculations which is not possible
by human in earlier days. But there is one Lady named as Shakuntala Devi born in Bangalore,Karnataka.Her Father C V Sundaraja Rao who worked as a Trapeze Artist Lion Tamer ,Tight Rope Walker in a circus one day while returning from work later when he was teaching his daughter about one card trick he realized that his daughter have the ability to memorize the arithmetic numbers at age of 3 years old .Soon after that he started taking his daughter to the road shows nearby events where they will be displaying the ability of doing mental calculations and Moreover strange thing is she didn’t even had formal education to do such brilliant things .At the age of six she demonstrated her ability to solve the Arithmetic Question at the University Of Mysore.
Later She moved to London, then she travelled all over the world to show her talent.
While she travelled to U S to have her abilities which is created and decribed by Arthur Jensen, a proffesor of University of California. There once to see how much ability she have to solve the arithmetical solutions in front of her they had presented a problem to solve was calculating a cube root
of 61,629,875 and seventh root of 170,859,375 and the amazing thing to get to know this that before the Professor noting down this problem at his notebook she gave the answer which is 395 and 15 which is accurate and fast.
Here the most crucial and important thing There is someone who left Computer which is an electronic which is recorded as fast where human can do error or mistake but at Shakuntala Devi did the 23rd root of a 201 digits number in just 50 sec.. Imagine how fast even a computer won’t boot up so fast she did it in some seconds not even a minute she took and gave the answer which 546,372,891 which was
confirmed by calculations done at the standards by the UNIVAC 1101 computer, to running that machine you will require to run a special program had to be written to perform such calculations. Interesting part to know is this unique machine took longer time to perform this calculation and give the accurate solution for the problem but she did it much before than the Computer.
THAT’S WHY SHE IS KNOWN AS AND GOT THE TITLE OF HUMAN COMPUTER IN GOLDEN ERA….😎😎🙏
